Feb. 3 Joint Activity

I am not going to give away what we are doing, but you won't want to miss our activity this week. I will say that it involves icecream and candy. Who wouldn't like that? This activity is for all Young Women and Young Men. We hope to see you there. Wed. @ 7:00.

Activity Changed to Friday

We will be having a combined activity Friday evening from 6pm-midnight at Sister Slaughter's house. We'd love to see you all there, even if you can't stay the whole time!

Please bring your favorite snack to share.

Wednesday January 6th Activity

We will be going swimming in Limestone. Please be at the church by 6:30.

Remember to bring a towel and please no two piece bathing suits (unless you are wearing something over it to swim in).

This will be a fun activity so we hope you all can make it!

Nova Scotia Temple Trip

Information for the Nova Scotia Temple trip was announced during opening exercises and will not be repeated here except for meeting times:

We're meeting in Presque Isle McDonald's parking lot at 10 am

and again in Caribo McDonald's parking lot at 10:30.

We have already set up seating arrangements/ car rentals so if you did not sign up AND have your interview AND get your permission slip to us by today, you CANNOT attend this trip.

We are having another temple trip in April, so that gives us 4 months to have sign up, interview, etc... taken care of.

Please bring:
pillow
overnight necessities
Sunday attire

Limit 1 pillow and 1 bag per person. The van will not have enough room to accomodate anything more.

Youth Leadership Training Meeting

Youth Leadership Training Meeting is Tomorrow, Saturday Dec. 12th from 10am-1pm (we may finish earlier than this).

ALL YOUNG WOMEN and ALL YOUNG MEN have been asked to attend this training.

We will be having a brunch and then a meeting to talk about expectations.

We will then plan out the next 6 months of activities. We would like to have your input so please plan to come tomorrow with your ideas!

NOVA SCOTIA BALL/BOWLING and TEMPLE TRIP

Nova Scotia has invited our youth 14 and up to a ball and youth 12 and 13 to go bowling on the 30th of December. Nova Scotia will room those who come for the night. Our youth would then go to the temple on the 31st and lunch will be provided.

THIS IS IN PLACE OF OUR JANUARY SUPER SATURDAY.

Young Women: if you are planning go please let the YW presidency know by DECEMBER 16th.

Parents: if you are able to commit to drive and stay please let us know as soon as possible.
